Questionable customer service

After 14 mo of ordering online I decided to shop in a store. At about 10 am I entered the store,found a young man (new employee )who helped me find a product but could not find the others,no one else around. At the checkout I waited while 3 employees did I don’t know what. I did not wait all that long but to long while 3 employees did nothing without masks.I asked regarding the other products and was met with a don’t know attitude. I will say I’am not a young woman and felt I was treated with total disregard by all except the young man. Just wanted to pass this along so that you can try and improve your costumer service. I will pass this along to all I know in the area so that they are aware.

I called the location of 14275 E Sam…

I called the location of 14275 E Sam Houston Parkway on Tuesday to schedule a hair appointment. They said they had an opening this Sunday which is today at 2. I said that would be perfect. I get to the salon and was told there was no stylist today and no scheduled appointments. I looked back thru my phone calls and that was the store I called. Never again will I go there again. Spoke to Amanda the manager and she said sorry there is nothing we can do. So anyone who schedules an appointment please be careful.

FALSE REPRESENTATION

FALSE REPRESENTATION ! HORRIBLE! I ordered several items for gift for Mothers Day and paid $16.95 for Premium Shipping. When I did not receive on expected date I tried to track package. I was informed package was awating carrier pick up.Still no delivery one day later. I called customer service and was told it would take a week and they could not issue a refund. There was a tracking number and she could not tell me where the package was! WILL NEVER USE AGAIN! I wont have gift in time and have to be inconvenienced when I paid for convenience. I should have read the reviews BECAUSE 9,000 + customers cant be wrong. They dont care about cusotmers , It shoud be illegal. DECEITFUL!

Horrible!

I placed my order, received my order. I noticed the box that was delivered was wet, when I opened the box I immediately noticed the extreme lack in knowledge on how to pack a box, there was one small piece of bubble wrap, the bubbles were deflated. So Everything in the box was either leaking, missing caps and really just a total mess!! I took extensive pictures! My husband asked me not to use the products since we didn’t know if any of the products were tampered with. I did send Ulta a message, offered my photos, this was almost 2 weeks ago! I did receive the automated response saying they received my email, and so far Nothing! I will never order from this company again!

Very Disappointed

I purchased an order via on line at 1:00 pm. Reviewed my order and noticed an error at 3:00 pm. I called customer service to make an attempt to request an adjustment- Declined, requested to cancel and re-order-Declined. The very rude customer service agent told me that there was no way to contact the “warehouse” to fulfill my recommendations. Effective communication is the of the most pivotal requirements to operate a successful business. The rep encouraged me to wait for the order to be shipped in 3 to 5 business days, refuse the order, wait an additional 3 to 5 business days to receive a confirmation that the order was returned. This has to be the most dated and counterproductive practices I’ve ever witnessed. I will NEVER order from this company again. I expect better service especially since their prices are 20 to 30% higher than their competitors.

Their website is terrible. Customer service is the worst. Shipping is slow. DON'T SHOP HERE. YOU'RE MUCH BETTER OFF AT SEPHORA OR SOMEWHERE THAT HAS A DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I wish i could give zero stars

Worst customer service! False advertising of delivery time (not due to a delay, just advertised fraudulently) and when i requested a refund for my expedited shipping they refused! I provided documentation (screenshot) of the advertised shipping and they still denied me a refund. I will NEVER shop here again! Disgusting!

Good luck using Ulta chat if you have any issues. They have no clue what they are doing. Absolutely no idea how anything works at Ulta. It is pretty bad when the customer knows more than the chat associates who are supposed to be resolving the situation. Deither in the Philippines might as well just save time and say I don’t know and won’t be able to help you. It would save a lot of time for everyone. Think you can try a different person...Myles from an “off shore” call center is even more useless than the first. Have a dog or cat? Ask them and you will probably get more info than chatting with these 2 people. Ridiculous that these people actually get paid to be clueless.

Horrible shipping and customer service.

I ordered products that were not available in store so they needed to be shipped. A week after placing the order I check the Ulta website to see when they would be here. The Ulta website states "awaiting for carrier pickup" but the tracking number says UDS has the package and will deliver on 4/14/21. I did not receive the package on that date. 4/15/21 I called Ulta customer service and they stated that tracking says it will be delivered on 4/15/21; to call back the next day if it's not delivered and they can refund the order. The package was not delivered. 4/16/21 I called Ulta customer service back and was told that the tracking says it'll be delivered 4/16/21 and that I should call back on Monday. I refused to call back and stated that I wanted a refund which the customer service representative stated they couldn't do that and that the package would be delivered today. I told the representative that the package delivery date keeps moving, I talked to customer service the day before, and "what do I do if the package never arrives". The customer service representative offered to replace the products which I refused and insisted on a refund. They stated that a refund was processed and I should get an email confirming the refund in 24 -48 hours and the refund should appear in my bank in 5-8 days. Today, 4/19/21 I called Ulta customer service again because I never received an email confirming the refund. The customer service representative eventually verbally gave me the reference number for the refund, which I wrote down. I will no longer be doing any type of business with Ulta.

Recently I went to dye my hair in ultra…

Recently I went to dye my hair in ultra beauty emeryville and I was waiting for my hair to turn ash color .Guess what it turned into golden which I don’t like and now it is turning orange after washing with their suggested hair color shampoo and conditioner .It was a horrible experience .I hope nobody should get a experience like me cause the person who dyed my hair keeps on saying my hair is a lot and her hair is paining .but I have paid 220 for my hair ,it is not free . they charged me so high .when I booked the appointment it was hair cut 40 and hair dye 120 and over there they charged me 220 .I will be more than happy to give extra tips if the hair turns out well .Now my hair is turning orange and golden mixed .Are they going to refund or give discount for my situation ? big no .So I told my friend about my experience and they are really unhappy too .Just want to share my experience so nobody should have bad experience at ulta beauty emeryville .Worst service I have ever seen in my entire life .

Extremely slow shipping and damaged products

I do not recommend ordering online. Shipping takes forever and products may arrive damaged. 2.5 weeks after I placed an order, I received a damaged product and was unable to use. I contacted customer service for a replacement. It’s been 3 weeks and my product still hasn’t shipped.

Best Cosmetics

Ulta is best to buy cosmetics products. I love all products and always prefer it first. Quality is excellent. Quantity is superb. Price is reasonable. Happy customer. Recommended to friends.

If you're asking about Ulta's brand, you can only buy it at Ulta. Other items can be purchased through other retailers. However, you have to really dig to find anything cheaper than Ulta. Especially during a sale and with a coupon.

It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
